What Are Cotton Dry Wipes?
Cotton Dry Wipes
A sheet of cotton.
You add the water.
A dry cotton sheet without pre-added cleansing liquid. Use it dry, or add clean water immediately before use. Keep unused sheets clean and dry.
Dry and pre-moistened wipes
The main difference is when the water is added.
Pre-moistened wipes contain a formula selected by the manufacturer. Ingredients, materials, and storage directions vary by product; check the package.
Bebesom dry wipes are supplied without a cleansing solution. Add clean water only to the sheet you are about to use. Dry sheets still need clean, dry storage; do not prepare and store a damp batch.
How to use dry wipes
Three ways, one sheet.
1As a wet wipe
Moisten a fresh sheet with clean water immediately before use.
2Straight from the pack
Dry, exactly as it comes β for drying skin, a runny nose, or a face after a meal.
3As the second step
After cleansing, gently pat the skin dry with a fresh sheet. Avoid rubbing.
For everyday care beyond diaper changes. Use fresh sheets for everyday wiping or drying. Follow the care and cleaning instructions for any object you wipe; a cotton sheet does not disinfect or sterilize it.
Why families switch
Why choose cotton dry wipes?
You control what touches the skin
With a dry wipe, you choose whether to use it dry or add clean water. A simple routine can be convenient, but cotton and water do not guarantee freedom from irritation.
Fabric is dermatologically tested β see the reports belowChoose the amount you need
The number of sheets needed varies with the task. Compare sheet size, total count, and pack format when choosing; we do not claim a tested reduction in sheets used compared with wet wipes.
Cotton non-woven fabric for dry or damp useKnow the sheet material
The submitted Bebesom dry-wipe sample was measured as 100% cotton fiber. Fiber content does not establish a disposal time or make a wipe flushable. Put used sheets in the trash.

Test reports and fabric certificates
The documents below identify the tested product or fabric and the issuing organization. Some of these belong to the finished product; others belong to the fabric our mill supplies.

A common mix-up
Not a paper towel. Not a facial tissue.
Paper towels and facial tissues are commonly made from wood pulp. Their construction and intended uses differ from nonwoven cotton fabric wipes.
Bebesom sheets are nonwoven cotton fabric, tested at 100% cotton fiber content. They are designed for dry or damp wiping; use gentle pressure.
Add water just before use
Use clean water for damp wiping.
Moisten only the sheet you need with clean water. Follow the package directions for any cleansing product you choose to use.
Do not store a damp homemade batch. Use the moistened sheet immediately, discard it after use, and keep the rest of the pack dry.
Questions we get
Before you buy
Do I have to wet them?
No. Use a fresh sheet dry for gentle patting or wiping, or add clean water when damp wiping is needed.
Are they safe for a newborn?
Use according to the package directions on intact skin and wipe gently. Fabric test results do not guarantee that every baby will tolerate a product. Stop use if irritation occurs and seek medical advice.
Can I flush them?
No. Put used sheets in the trash. Cotton fiber content does not make a wipe safe to flush.
How do they compare on price?
Compare the current price, total sheet count, sheet size, and pack format. The cost per use depends on how many sheets you need.
Which pack should I start with?
If you are trying them for the first time, the Everyday Pack is a simple place to start. For larger quantities, compare the current per-sheet price and contents of each option.
