Test reports and certificates

Anything we say about a Bebesom product should be something you can check. This page lists our lab reports and certificates, which product each one covers, and who issued it — including the certificates that belong to our fabric mill rather than to us.

Fabric certificates

These are issued to the Korean mill that produces the nonwoven cotton fabric in our dry wipes and towels. They certify the fabric itself — we show them because the fabric is most of what you are buying, and we say so plainly because they are not certificates issued to Bebesom.

3-Finger Snack Gloves

The gloves are a different material from our cotton line — food-grade LDPE — so they have their own documents.

Cotton-gauze nursing covers

Our nursing covers are made in Korea from 100% cotton gauze, a different fabric from our dry wipes. Our manufacturer confirms the gauze is unbrushed and that every print uses the same fabric, trims and printing method. Love and Modern covers use three-layer gauze with an additional three-layer chest lining; Simple covers use four-layer gauze. The reports below were issued by KOTITI Testing & Research Institute in Korea on Bebesom nursing-cover samples.

Korea KC Safety Confirmation
Issued in Korea after KOTITI tested the cover to the national safety standard for infant textiles. It is a Korean certification, not a U.S. one.

Eight heavy metals — none detected
Antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury and selenium were all below the detection limit in the printed outer fabric and the plastic snap and neck parts. Total lead was also below detection: under 10 mg/kg, against a 100 mg/kg limit.
KOTITI · report 8225-1011-105984
Formaldehyde, azo dyes & pH — pass
In the outer fabric, lining and binding, formaldehyde was not detected (below 16 mg/kg), none of the 24 restricted azo-dye amines were found, and nonylphenols were not detected. pH measured 5.7–6.6, within the 4.0–7.5 range.
KOTITI · report 8225-1011-105984
Two more prints — pass
Two additional printed outer fabrics were tested to the same textile requirements: formaldehyde, azo-dye amines and nonylphenols were not detected, and pH measured 6.6–6.7.
KOTITI · report 8225-1011-106251
No optical brighteners
Five of the gauze fabrics were checked under UV light. No fluorescent whitening agents were present in any of them.
KOTITI · report 82251001198094 · fabric check
Magnetic snap & small parts — pass
The magnetic neck snap passed the standard’s magnet-safety clause, and the snap and neck parts stayed attached in the attachment-strength test.

Made in Korea, and traceable

Every Bebesom product is made in Korea. Our dry wipes and towels are cut from nonwoven cotton fabric supplied by one Korean mill, so when you ask where your wipes came from, we can answer in one sentence.
